On May 27th, a general meeting of employees and volunteers of LGBT World Beside took place in Amsterdam. One of the main topics was the optimization of the organizational structure and the redistribution of functional responsibilities within the team to increase efficiency.
During the meeting, it was also announced that the rebranding process had been completed, and a new logo and organization style had been launched. The logo underwent some changes, but the idea remained unchanged – the ship as a symbol of unity in our community, with all of our rich and diverse experiences: “We’re all in the same boat.” The colour palette also underwent slight changes, becoming more vibrant, but the rainbow gradient, symbolizing the LGBTQ+ community, remained at its core. Starting from June 1st, the visual design will change on all social media platforms and the LGBT World Beside website. By the way, the website update will be carried out gradually.
The meeting discussed the implementation of the organization’s most important projects. On June 3rd, we are gathering for the first Pride event of the year in the Netherlands – in Utrecht, where a Russian-speaking column organized jointly by LGBT World Beside and rusLGBTQ will take place. On June 11th, we will meet at the first-ever Eindhoven PridePicnic, and on June 13th, there will be a meeting with Geert Gabriёls, a politician from the GroenLinks party, in the Limburg parliament, where he will try to answer all the pressing questions of LGBTQ+ refugees. At the end of the first month of summer, on June 27th, we have a meeting at the next Spelletijesdag. By the way, we have a small innovation here – we will now have special informational sessions next to the game playing.
On July 8th, our traditional PridePicnic will take place in Amsterdam (for the third time). And in early August, on the 6th, our Russian-speaking column will march through the streets of the capital as part of the annual Walk Pride, which we are all eagerly looking forward to! We feel that with each new event, there are more and more of our guests and like-minded people, and we are becoming more united and friendly. We see the results of our work, and it not only makes us happy but also gives us the strength to continue working for the benefit and in the name of the LGBTQ+ community.
The second part of the meeting was dedicated to getting acquainted with the new volunteers of LGBT World Beside who had previously submitted their applications. In total, the organization has gained about 15 new volunteers. We are immensely grateful to them for their responsiveness and dedication to achieving results! У LGBT World Beside произошел ребрендинг и значительно увеличилась команда
В Амстердаме 27 мая прошло общее собрание сотрудников и волонтеров LGBT World Beside. Одной из главных тем стала оптимизация организационной структуры и перераспределение функциональных обязанностей внутри коллектива с целью повышения эффективности работы.
На совещании также было объявлено о завершении процедуры ребрендинга и запуске нового логотипа и стиля организации. Логотип несколько видоизменился, однако неизменной осталась идея – кораблик как символ единения нашего комьюнити, со всем нашим богатым и разносторонним опытом: “Мы все в одной лодке”. Цветовая гамма также немного изменилась, став более насыщенной, но в ее основе сохранился радужный градиент как символ ЛГБТК+ комьюнити. С 1 июня оформление изменится во всех социальных сетях и на сайте LGBT World Beside. К слову, обновление сайта будет проходить постепенно.
На собрании рассмотрели реализацию важнейших для организации проектов. Уже 3 июня мы встречаемся на первом в этом году Прайде на территории Нидерландов – в Утрехте, где пройдет русскоязычная колонна, организованная совместно LGBT World Beside и rusLGBTQ. 11 июня мы встретимся на первом в истории Эйндховена PridePicnic, 13 июня состоится встреча с политиком партии GroenLinks Geert Gabriёls в парламенте Лимбурга, который постарается ответить на все волнующие ЛГБТК+ беженцев вопросы. В конце первого летнего месяца, 27 июня, нас ждет встреча на очередном Spelletijesdag. Кстати, здесь у нас есть небольшое нововведение – теперь мы будем проводить специальные информационные сессии, параллельно играм и общению. 8 июля пройдет наш традиционный PridePicnic в Амстердаме (в этом году уже в третий раз). А в начале августа, 6 числа, наша русскоязычнная колонна пройдет по улицам столицы в рамках ежегодного Walk Pride, чего все мы, конечно, с нетерпением ждем! Мы чувстсвуем, что на каждом новом мероприятии наших гостей и единомышленников присутствует все больше и мы становимся более сплоченными и дружными. Мы видим результаты нашего труда и это нас не только радует нас, но и дает нам силы работать дальше – на благо и во имя ЛГБТК+ сообщества.
Вторая часть собрания была отведена знакомству с новыми волонтерами LGBT World Beside, которые ранее отправили нам свои анкеты. Всего ряды организации пополнили около 15 новых добровольцев. И мы безумно им благодарны за их отзывчивость и нацеленность на результат! Надеемся, что наша работа будет продуктивной и слаженной, а наша команда будет и дальше расширяться, чтобы мы могли реализовывать больше важных, интересных и ярких проектов!
