Always campaigned for LGBTIAQ+ people in the areas of education, sports, healthcare, culture and safety. Currently, in the candidate list of GroenLinks/PvdA for the elections for the House of Representatives.

Leon Augustijn is an ambassador of the LGBT World Beside.

Writer, columnist and podcast maker.
His book IK (which stands for Innerlijke Kracht (Inner Power) tells his story. A story about rejection and the fear of being rejected. For years he played hide and seek with himself. He even married a woman, which didn’t work out in the end.
He now lives with his husband in Gouda and no longer has to play hide and seek.
